St. Ignatius of Antioch

Ignatius, who was a Bishop and a Martyr died in Rome around the year 107.  He was known as the second successor of St. Peter in Antioch.  He wwrote seven letters to the local churches on the theme of "church Unity".  He was the first to use the term "Cathoic Church" as a designation for Christians.  He is mentioned in the Roman Canon.
